Macroscopie – Isolé ou en petit groupe. Chapeau 7-10 cm diam., convexe ou conico-campanulé à sommet tronqué puis étalé à centre mamelonné; revêtement brun bistre clair à blanchâtre, à squamules fibrilleuses brunes disposées concentriquement, peu distinctes au centre. Pied 7-10 ´ 0,7-1 cm, fistuleux, cylindracé, graduellement élargi à la base -1,5 cm diam., blanc et lisse au-dessus de l’anneau, blanchâtre puis brun rougeâtre clair et tomenteux-aranéeux sous l’anneau, se tachant d’ocracé au toucher; anneau membraneux, large, fragile à marge lacérée, blanc. Lamelles libres, minces, assez larges, serrées, atténuées aux extrémités, blanches puis rosées finalement brun foncé. Chair ferme, blanche puis légèrement ocracée, rosissant légèrement à la coupe. Odeur agréable. Goût agréable. Sporée brun foncé.
Microscopie – Cheilocystides petites, claviformes, parfois septées, hyalines. Spores brun rosé clair, ellipsoïdes, 5-6 ´ 3,1-3,7 µm.
Ecologie – Saprotrophe, sur le sol; plantations de Grevillea et de Coffea.
Macroscopy – Isolated or in a small group. Cap 7-10 cm diam., convex or conical-campanulate with truncated apex, then spreading with mamelonate center; pileipellis light bistre brown to whitish, with brown fibrous squamules concentrically arranged, not very distinct in the center. Stipe 7-10 ´ 0.7-1 cm, fistulous, cylindrical, gradually enlarged at the base -1.5 cm diam., white and smooth above the ring, whitish then light reddish brown and tomentose-arachneous below the ring, becoming ochraceous to the touch; ring membranous, broad, brittle with lacerated margin, white. Lamellae free, thin, fairly broad, tight, attenuated at the tips, white then pinkish and finally dark brown. Flesh firm, white then slightly ochraceous, turning slightly pink when cut. Smell pleasant. Taste pleasant. Spore print dark brown.
Microscopy – Cheilocystidia small, claviform, sometimes septate, hyaline. Spores light pinkish-brown, ellipsoid, 5-6 ´ 3.1-3.7 µm.
Ecology – Saprotrophic, on soil; Grevillea and Coffea plantations.
Distribution connue / Known distribution – R.D. Congo (De Kesel et al., 2017; Heinemann, 1956).
